Corporate Legal Assistant, Anticipatory Opportunities

About the Opportunity 

We are building a talent pipeline for full-time, permanent Corporate Legal Assistant opportunities anticipated to open with our clients. While there is no immediate vacancy at this time, we encourage enthusiastic and qualified candidates to express their interest now to be considered for future roles.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Prepare correspondence and legal documentation
• Address client inquiries as required
• Maintain client files
• Preparation of dockets and accounts
• Coordinate and organize meetings, conference calls and maintain agenda
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Assist with other projects and support other departments as required

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute or suitable combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of legal support experience in corporate law
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience preparing and editing correspondence
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize job tasks in order to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to ensure consistent attention to detail
• Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information

About the Job

Salary for this role will fall within the $55,000 to $80,000/year range, depending on experience.
